Sorry About Not Being On

I know that it's been nearly a month since I last posted anything and I'm sorry about that. I've just been through too much to be able to do anything. I did celebrate the Summer Solstice and I had a lot of fun. I got a book last night called 'Grimour of the Green Witch' and I want to read through it and do some of the things on there. That should be interesting. Still honoring the gods and still planning my move, which will take place either September or October. September 30 is the last day that we're on the lease. My job has been doing so-so but I'm happy to be working. I'm going to order some things today and I'll show them off when I get them.

Late Post: I Didn't Celebrate Beltane

Merry Meet! Six days ago was Beltane, the last of the three spring festivals. However, I didn't celebrate Beltane on the first but rather the night before. I had jury duty to take part in and the whole thing left me drained. However, I intend to celebrate the next Sabbath called the Summer Solstice. I'm hoping that I will have the day off from work and I can do that sabbath. I hope that everyone had a good Beltane and may the gods bless you.

Beltane

On the first of May will be Beltane, the last of the three spring festivals and the union of god and goddess. Unlike last year I will be celebrating it on the day before. This is due to jury duty, which is a requirement to take part in. Beltane is all about fertility of both people, plants, and animals. It's a huge reminder that Wicca is a fertility religion as well as a nature based one. I will post my Beltane altar, which will have the Morrigan and Dagda, the day before Beltane. There are plenty of sources out there that will give you information and I would like to add that Beltane is one of the four fire festivals that were originally celebrated by the ancient Celts. I hope that you all have a blessed Beltane.

I'm Done with Facebook

I tried to get back on Facebook, so that everyone would know that I'm still alive, and I was locked out of my account. I think I know why. I'm a pagan. No, I'm not doing Facebook anymore. I'm sick and tired of them. So this is one ex-Facebook user that's sorry that I won't be back on anymore but I just can't take them anymore.

I'm Back!

I know that it's been two months since I posted anything, it's just that I lost my net in February and I've also been busy. And trust me, this connection sucks. So I'm back, posting and practicing. My Imbolc sucked, due to getting my brother's cold. And then he gave it to my mother. Yeah, lovely child. Lol! I got my things from the shop that I always shop at and things have been great. I'm looking forward to posting more often and continue learning and growing. I look forward to future posts.

You Don't Need A Ton of Money to Practice Wicca

Merry Meet! One of the things that people complain about Wicca is that it costs so much money to practice it. You need herbs, crystals, and candles. However, you don't need to spend a ton of money to practice Wicca of any kind. For the next two months I will not really have money to buy herbs and candles. So I look for deals for things like candles or I work with energy to get my spells out into the universe. Working with energy is something that's vital to the practice of the craft. You have to use your will, along with energy, to send your spells out into the universe. Nothing else is needed. Don't worry about all the things that books think that you need. Your the most powerful thing that is needed for the craft. Blessed Be!

Imbolc (Final Day)

Merry Meet! Tonight is the final day of Imbolc. I will be burning incense and giving her the rest of her offerings. I will post a photo of my three days of Imbolc tomorrow. Blessed Be!
